The Four Sword is a sword that was featured within the Four Swords subseries of the The Legend of Zelda series where it stands for the Master Sword. Within the series, the sword is unique as drawing it will split the wielder and sword into four separate entities as an explanation for the multiplayer aspects of Four Swords, its DSiWare remake and Four Swords Adventures.

The Four Sword word, which receives power from Force Gems, has been wielded by Link in several games and has usually been used to defeat and seal the wind mage Vaati, as well as Ganon on one occasion. The Minish Cap revealed the origin of the Four Sword by showing that it transformed from the broken Picori Blade as the result of Link's attempt to fix the blade. Although the sword did not yet develop the ability to instantly split one into four, it was shown to play a vital role in Vaati's first downfall.
