Debut | Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars |
Exor, one of the most powerful of Smithy's followers, was the last boss Mario and company had to battle before gaining access to Smithy's Factory. He serves as a portal between Mario's world and Smithy's world. It resembles a giant sword and is protected by its various body parts.
Background
One day Exor fell from the sky, shattering the Star Road into seven pieces during its descent. It ultimately landed in Bowser's Keep, where it stayed for the remainder of the game. It is presumably through Exor that all members of the Smithy Gang reached Mario's world to invade. Exor confronted Mario when the plumber returned to Bowser's Keep, and warded him off by destroying the bridge to Bowser's Keep.
Later in the game, Mario and his group battled Exor on the roof of Bowser's Keep. But Exor was eventually defeated in this battle despite his great power. In one final act of desperation, Exor opened his mouth and sucked up Mario and his crew, teleporting them to Smithy's Factory. After Smithy's destruction, Exor's body disintegrated.
Abilities
- HP: 1800, Attack: 0, Defense: 120, Magic Attack: 0, Magic Defense: 80
The "real" Exor is the skull atop the sword, incapable of attack. Because of that it is protected by several body parts - specifically the Left Eye, Right Eye and Neosquid (mouth). Each part had its own specific special attacks. To hurt Exor, the other body parts must first have their HP depleted. The body parts will regenerate their HP within several turns.
Trivia
- In the original Japanese version Exor is called Karibaa, and the Neosquid is actually called a mouth.
