The Kremkoin is a type of currency utilized by Kremlings that was featured in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2 as a collectible item. It is a large golden coin that features the image of Kaptain K. Rool's head. Kremkoins were special items that could be won by completing bonus areas and defeating bosses. In both games, they were used for one purpose: to pay Klubba's tolls and access the Lost World of Crocodile Isle. Within the Lost World, players earned DK Coins instead of Kremkoins from bonus areas and the final boss.

In Country 2, there were a total of 75 Kremkoins that could be earned, and Klubba charged 15 Kremkoins at each toll station. In Land 2, there was instead a total of 47 Kremkoins, and they all had to be paid at once to access the Lost World. In Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie's Double Trouble and Donkey Kong Land III, the Kremkoin was replaced by the Bonus Coin.
