Second Generation

The Second Generation consists of OGers who posted in OGs (mainly the Member OG series) after the server crash and before the second exodus to Gamehiker.com after Member OG 6 ended. Basically none of the authors have survived the exodus, although this generation has the advantage of unleashing the awesome of Fred.

This era represented two distinct points. Most of the First Generation writers remained on the Gamehiker EZBoard. This period was notable for the Mega Mega Extreme Doki Doki Panik series and the continuation of prose stories like Final Fantasy OG and the start of Super Mario Bros. Adventure 2. A distinct group of new OGers formed back at VGF and started up the Member OG series. Eventually these groups more or less merged on the shinier Gamehiker.com forums and started the Third Generation
