Microwave was an ancillary character of Noir Goers. He worked as a sidekick for Sterling Silver. When Sterling Silver and his alter ego, Lester Argent, die, Microwave returns to life as Teddy White, bodyguard for The Dame. He drops off the map for a while and his girlfriend, Modest Woman, alias Alice, can't even find him. Faced with Mack accusing the Dame of being a villainous wench, he begins to lose control. When he sees Mack in the guise of Sterling Silver II, he loses all control of his powers, and kills the Dame. Mack protects Alice with a Faraday cage. At the end of the story, we learn that Sterling Silver had taught Teddy how to control his powers. Now, it seemed, he was burned out physically and emotionally.
