Paper Mario 2

Uncle Billy, you fool! This OG has been lost to the sands of time in some degree, most likely in one of VGF's old server crashes. Thus many pieces of the story are missing. If you have any info we don't or secretly have them all saved, please add!

Based off a sideflick in the Koopa Bar & Grille, Bowser has captured the Star Rod, split the Star Spirits in two, and cast them across the world. Can LOTP and GM save the day, or will they need help from some other OG-goers?

The Plot

The plot was a cheap rehash of Paper Mario, except featuring Author Characters instead of video game characters (though some might have shown up, I can't remember). Also, Bowser (yeah, some did show up) split the Star Spirits into two, so they had to collect fourteen pieces instead of seven. I don't think it was ever completed, but it did spin off into a couple of OGs on Mario Jr.'s forum, primarily written by him, GM, and me in a style similar to the Koopa Bar & Grille. Please tell me those are lost.

Anyway, more stuff:

• It was quite long, long enough for two topics.
• I believe all of the author characters were split up and explored different lands with different Paper Mario partners (I think Luiigii had Goombario), facing different villains from various video games- including Bill Gates in a robot suit and possibly a Robo-Grunty.
• Kolorado (the author) originally wanted to "control" Kolorado (the Paper Mario character), but when Luiigii denied it she invented her own character of Misty Koopa instead.
• There were regular visits to the Bar & Grille and battles with Chaos (from Sonic Adventure).
• Bowser was the central villain and eventually unleashed some black fog that turned the rest of the world evil.
• Rebe: At one point a human replica droid of some sort was sent to kill Luiigii and wound up falling in love with him instead I think. It was either a replica of Mara Jade (in which case it was likely the inspiration for Rebe) or actually Rebe Jade (in which case this is her first OG appearance).
• By the time GORE tried to join, the parties were full, so GORE tried entering his character as a villain under the influence of the black fog and had some plans involving K. Rool and GORE turning to help the others before the final battles.
• Luiigii and GM eventually came to a consensus to stop writing the story as it was nearing its potential end.

I thought being overly controlling of stories was the hip way to OG. What a fool I was!
