Clyde is the head of Legion and is bent on taking over the Universe. Apparently Clyde has had some run-ins with his rival, Doc Hatchet, and it is unknown why he hates Hatchet or what Hatchet has done to him. Clyde used to be a scientist in Rapture's Soldier program and helped Ryan when Fontane attacked the city.
