The nickname "Jed" came from a good friend of his by the name of LouWeeJee. It was derived from KoD's first AIM screename, JediKirby01, back when he thought Star Wars was the absolute shiz and nothing would be better than jedi-ism. He changed his sn to MetaGoldKnight, which was fairly short-lived and then went to TheKirbyOfDeath. "Jed" still stuck, though and it became Lou's (also Coco's) own nickname for him until one fateful day. Mariorocks saw Lou call KoD "Jed" during a Gamehiker chat and took it upon himself to adopt it as well. Thus, KoD would start to be referred to as "Jed" by many forever and ever, the end.
