Background[edit]

Not much is known of Bomberman (at least from the OGs I read). He first appeared as a minion of Metal Mario in the original Party Goers story. But during this OG, he met up with Magikoopa and remained as Magikoopa's sidekick after Metal Mario appeared to have kicked the bucket (but he was actually being ferried to Party Goers 11). Magikoopa and Bomberman later joined Team Rocket Omega and teamed up with Meowth as a group of the most persistent Party Goers enemies.

Bomberman was shown as a mysterious character at times. Along with his usual arsenal of bombs, he could summon various other gadgets from some other dimension. Sometimes he was described as being the same as the Bomberman from the video games, but that would not explain Bomberman's villainous activities in the OGs.

Good Timeline[edit]

Timeline information unknown (I think).

Bad Timeline[edit]

Because of his position as Magikoopa's right-hand man, he was also a major character in the Rocketsville series.

Bomberman also appeared as a supporting character in the first part of Party Goers 15, apparently alone and bored after being neglected by Magikoopa. He showed the Party Goers to a Mewtwo he and Magikoopa had genetically engineered (which would later become the Party Animal), but later rejoined Magikoopa.

Bomberman and Magikoopa were shown to still be parts of Team Rocket in the following years and made several appearances in the Member OG series. In The OGers: Third Generation, Team Rocket Omega had practically taken America, and Bomberman was one of Magikoopa's lieutenants. His fate following TRO's apparent dissolution at the end of the OG is unknown.

Neutral Timeline[edit]

Timeline information unknown (I think).

Other Versions[edit]

Bomberman appeared in both Party Goers comic series. In Nintenfreak's version, he was given a non-copyrighted makeover and dubbed "Bombboy". Vorpal's comic included Bomberman as Magikoopa's lackey once more.

Bomberman appeared as a part of Catriforce Omega in The Lord of the Parties. Additionally, in the first Gamehiker High University, he made a cameo appearance as Bob "The Bomber" Man, a member of the Police Force Omega.

Trivia[edit]

  • Based on Hudson Soft's video game character of the same name.
