- Blue Pikmin are one of the three 'primary' types of Pikmin encountered by Olimar. They possess gills making them at home at land and water. They are weaker than Reds, but stronger than Yellows.

- White Pikmin are the smallest of Pikmin with unknown Pikmin. To date, only Olimar and Wulfmin's garden have only encountered transformed White Pikmin. Though they are small and fragile, White Pikmin's bodies are filled with a deadly poison that will either deter or kill predators. They are also immune to other poisons and are quite nimble.
- Black Pikmin or Nightmin are a nocturnal variant of Pikmin that have become predators of other creatures, including other Pikmin. Because they have no Onions, they will replenish their numbers by converting other colors into blacks.
