Davis (or Cole in the PAL release) is a commander in the New Rubinelle Army following the Meteor Crisis in Advance Wars: Days of Ruin.

Background

Prior to the meteor strike, Davis had been a soldier in the Rubinelle army and had at one point served under Captain Brenner. He then joined up with the NRA once it was founded by Admiral Greyfield. After their final victory against the Beast, Brenner's Wolves discovered Davis being attacked by Tasha at sea. After rescuing him, they learned that Davis had been sent by Greyfield to recruit the battalion in the war against Lazuria.

Davis continued to serve Greyfield, though as the admiral became more power-mad Davis himself became more timid. He failed to stand against Greyfield's ambitions after the war and largely appeared as someone to relay the admiral's orders or be yelled at for failure.

When the Creeper struck the NRA, Davis, himself infected, went mad and led the other infected troops to the town of Salvation. At Salvation they were told to sacrifice others to The Worm to receive a cure. While attempting to do so, he was presumably killed by Brenner's Wolves along with the other infected under Gage's orders to prevent their murderous ambitions from spreading.

Trivia

• Davis is one of the few COs (the others being Cyrus and The Beast) in the game who lacks a CO Power and CO Zone. As a result, he is not playable in any mode.
