Pico is a pilot that appears in F-Zero as one of the original four racers. He has appeared in every incarnation of the series with the exception of F-Zero: Maximum Velocity. He is described as being a hard-boiled ex-hitman that used to work for the Poripoto Army. After joining the F-Zero races he converted an old military vehicle into an F-Zero machine known as the Wild Goose.

He is known for being an aggressive hitman and pilot, though he is able to keep his cool and perform his job intelligently. It is believed that it was his reckless racing that caused the horrific grand finale that suspended races for ten years after the original game, as well as nearly killing Mighty Gazelle. Though this has made him unpopular amongst his fellow pilots, his racing style hasn't changed much over the years.
