Hey You, Pikachu! (known in Japan as Pikachu Genki dechu) is a spin-off of the Pokémon series released for the Nintendo 64, and it is the only Nintendo 64 game to utilize the Nintendo 64 VRU.
Story[edit]
Professor Oak has developed a protoype device called the Pokéhelper, which allows people to communicate with Pokémon. He decides to give this device to the Pokéhelper so they can try it out on their Pikachu.
Gameplay[edit]
The game is similar to a virtual pet game. In the game, the player can choose one of several environments. There the player must speak into the Nintendo 64's microphone (which comes with the game) in order to guide Pikachu into accomplishing certain objectives. These objectives can earn the player Pika Points, which are used to buy items at Abra's shop.

Pokémon Channel for the Nintendo Gamecube, though it does not use any type of microphone, has a similar premise.
