Katt Monroe is a recurring ally character from the Star Fox series. She is a freelance pilot who opposes Andross as well as a longtime friend of Falco.
Background[edit]
Original Continuity[edit]
Katt was a skilled fighter and an old friend of Falco Lombardi. She was known as a rogue pilot who had no allegiance to any particular team, but in general she has always supported Corneria during conflicts. The Catspaw that she piloted was originally a Venom Invader ship that she stole from one of their bases. This was after her old ship had been damaged by a Venomian patrol, prompting her to begin fighting against Andross.
During the original Lylat Wars, she fought against Andross's forces on her own. On Zoness, she provided assistance to Star Fox several times, much to the surprise of her old friend Falco. Following that, she also helped out on MacBeth or Sector Z. During the battles, she flirted often with Falco, who was less than enthused by her arrival.
Over a decade later, she was fighting the Anglars in the Anglar War during Star Fox Command. She helped Falco out in the Asteroid Belt prior to him joining up with Fox and Slippy. Although she never admitted it, she still had feelings for Falco and liked the idea of joining Star Fox for just that reason.
Possible Fates[edit]
In Ending 8 of Star Fox Command, she convinced Falco to start a new team called "Star Falco". She and Dash Bowman both joined Falco in the team. In Ending 5, she joined up with the other female pilots (Krystal, Amanda and Lucy Hare) to save Corneria from the Anglar weapon, the Spanner, and afterwards she celebrated with them.
Star Fox Zero[edit]
She appeared in Star Fox Zero with a similar design and role as in Star Fox 64. She had to be rescued from Zoness and aided Star Fox at Fortuna. At the end of the game, she escorted Star Fox back from Venom.

- She appears in the "Farewell Beloved Falco" manga (set between Star Fox 64 and Adventures) in which she leads a space gang called the Hot-Rodders which Falco once was part of. She helps Fox and the others to uncover General Shears's conspiracy on Zoness.
Trivia[edit]
- Originally Katt had pink fur in Star Fox 64. It was likely changed to black in Command due to Lucy and Amanda both having pink fur/skin. Games released since then have reverted to her original pink design.
- Her only playable appearance is in Command.
