Skuntank is a large, skunk-like Pokémon that was introduced in the fourth generation games. It is the evolved form of Stunky.
Information[edit]
Skuntank evolves from Stunky at Level 34. Similar to its previous form, Skuntank defends itself by spraying a vile-smelling fluid from the tip of its tail. They have a range of over 160 feet, and the fluid smells worse the longer it is allowed to fester. However, the stench dulls after several squirts. Skuntank is usually confused by attacks from above.
Appearances[edit]
Mainstream Games[edit]
In Pokémon: Diamond Version, Skuntank is uncommonly found at Routes 221 and 225.

Other Games[edit]
In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Darkness, Skuntank could be recruited at Mystifying Forest, Mystery Jungle and Shimmer Hill. A non-playable Skunktank was also shown as the leader of a team of thieves called Team Skull, acting as a recurring antagonist throughout the game and knocking others out with its stench. In Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, it appeared at Oil Field Hideout. In Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs, it was found at Rasp Cavern and the Ice Temple. It also appeared in Pokémon Rumble at Eternal Tower. In PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure, Skuntank could be found at the Haunted Zone.
Other Appearances[edit]
Other Media[edit]
- In the Pokémon anime, a Skuntank appeared in several episodes of the Sinnoh series as one of the main Pokémon of the Team Galactic agent Jupiter. It was ultimately beaten by Cynthia's Garchomp in its final appearance. Another Skuntank belonging to a trainer named Jeremiah also appeared in two episodes, where it actually was his chosen starter Pokémon. They have otherwise made occasional cameo appearances.
- In the Pokémon Adventures manga, Team Galactic grunts used a small army of Skuntank and Staravia in battle against the group at Veilstone City within the Diamond/Pearl arc, but they were able to fend them off.
