Volleyball is a sports game based on the eponymous sport that was released for the NES in 1986 and 1987. In Japan, it was released as part of the Famicom Disk System.
Gameplay[edit]
The game consists of six-on-six volleyball matches. The player controls one team of six, which has three players near the net and three in the back. The volleyball players controlled by the player switch depending on which row the ball is closest to. They are controlled using the control pad and the B Button. As in standard games of volleyball, the goal is to score enough points against the opposing team to win the game.
Players can choose to take part in a men's or women's competition and can select from one of eight countries to represent.
