Wrys is a playable unit appearing in Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryuu to Hikari no Tsurugi as well as the remakes/sequels Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and Fire Emblem: Shin Monshou No Nazo. He is the first priest/curate who can be recruited in the game as well as the series as a whole.

Book One[edit]
Wrys originally lived in a village at Talys and described himself as a humble curate. When Talys was attacked by pirates from Galder in Chapter 1, Wrys volunteered to help Marth's army by healing their wounded, although he did not know how to fight. After the War of Darkness ended, Wrys was said to have built a monastery and to have spent his remaining years caring for children whom had lost their parents during the war.

- In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Wrys appeared as a Novice-rank Primary Spirit with the effect of raising Aura resistance. When fought against in a Spirit battle, his Spirit would possess a blue Kirby and be fought in a timed stamina battle where he focused on evading the player character in general and could gradually heal himself.
Trivia[edit]
- In Shadow Dragon and Shin Monshou no Nazo, he receives support bonuses from Marth and Caeda, as well as from My Unit in Shin Monshou no Nazo.
- Wrys was omitted completely from the Super NES's telling of Marth's story, Monshou no Nazo, but he was returned to continuity by the DS remakes.
- In Shin Monshou no Nazo, he can have support conversations with My Unit.
