Tryclyde, also known as Triclyde, is a large, three-headed serpent and a boss from the game Super Mario Bros. 2.
Background[edit]
Little is known of Tryclyde's past, though it is mentioned he was a loner whom Wart allowed to join his forces due to Tryclyde's apparently cunning and evil mind.
Tryclyde would appear as the boss of World 2-3 and World 6-3 in Super Mario Bros. 2 and would attack players by shooting a barrage of fireballs from his multiple heads. Tryclyde could only be injured by players by having Mushroom Blocks thrown at him. After being hit by several Mushroom Blocks, Tryclyde would be defeated.
