Boldore is a large rock-like Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the middle form of Roggenrola's evolutionary line, with its evolved form being Gigalith.
Information
Boldore evolves from Roggenrola at Level 25. It has too much power for its body to contain. This led to the energy leaking and forming orange crystals along its body. The orange crystal on its body glows when it is overflowing with power. Boldore constantly seek underground water in caves for sustenance.
A Boldore evolves into a Gigalith when traded to another trainer.'
Appearances
Mainstream Games
In Pokémon: Black and White Versions, Boldore are commonly found at Chargestone Cave, Mistralton Cave, Twist Mountain, Victory Road, Challenger's Cave and Giant Chasm.
Trivia
- Its name is a pun on "boulder" combined with "ore".
