Meganium is a powerful grass Pokémon that was introduced in the second generation games. It is the third and final form in the evolutionary line of second generation starter Pokémon Chikorita.

Other Appearances
- Several Meganium have appeared in the Pokémon anime. Casey's Chikorita eventually evolved into one during the Johto episodes (although Ash's didn't), while Vincent was also shown to own a Meganium that had evolved from his starter Pokémon and fought Ash's Bulbsaur to a draw at the Silver Conference.
- In the Pokémon Adventures manga, Crystal's Bayleef evolved into a Meganium at the same time as the other starters to protect their trainers during a battle with Lugia. It has since remained as one of Crystal's primary Pokémon.
