Magcargo is a molten snail-like Pokémon that was introduced in the second generation games. It is the evolved form of Slugma.
Information
Magcargo evolves from Slugma at Level 37. It has a shell on its back which is actually skin that has been cooled and hardened. Magcargo's entire body is actually composed of magma due to the tens of thousands of years that the species has spent living in volcanoes. This makes its body hot and constantly billowing.
