Mismagius is a powerful chanting ghost Pokémon that was introduced in the fourth generation games. It was introduced as the new evolved form for the second generation Pokémon Misdreavus.

Mismagius evolves from a Misdreavus that has been exposed to a Dusk Stone. Mismagius have been known to appear when least expected and to release cries which sound like chanted incantations. These cries usually torment targets with headaches and hallucinations. On rare occasions, these incantations are instead imbued with a happiness-giving power.
