Urban Champion is a fighting game by Nintendo.
Gameplay
The goal of Urban Champion is for the player to knock his opponent into a manhole. The player has limited time and limited stamina. Both a light punch and a heavy punch is available. The heavy punch does more damage, but the light punch is harder to block. For each punch the player throws, they lose one stamina. Occasionally, a flower pot will fall and the player will lose 5 stamina if they're hit. Every 30 seconds, a police car will drive by, causing the player and his opponent to return to their original positions. If time runs out and no one has won, the police car takes the person who was pushed furtherest back.
The game has Mode A and Mode B. Mode A is the single player game. Mode B is 2 Player.
Legacy
In WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!, one of 9-Volt's games is based on Urban Champion. Also, Stage 18 in Standard Mode of Tetris DS uses Urban Champion as a backdrop.
