Gorebyss is an elegant yet deadly fish-like Pokémon that was introduced in the third generation games. It is one of the two possible evolved forms of Clamperl, with the other option being Huntail.

Information[edit]

Gorebyss will evolve from a Clamperl that has been traded while holding a Deepseascale. Like Huntail, they live in extreme depths of the ocean and is built to withstand the pressure of the ocean at this depth. This causes Gorebyss's body to be unharmed by normal attacks. While one is swimming, Gorebyss is usually described as a picture of elegance and beauty, but their cruel methods betray this image. Gorebyss will insert its thin tubular mouth into the prey's body and drain its body fluids. It also uses its mouth for the more innocent act of feeding on seaweed between rocks. Gorebyss's body is normally a light pink color, but it becomes more vivid after feeding and during the rise in temperatures that comes with spring.
