Natu is a small green psychic bird Pokémon that was introduced in the second generation games. Its evolved form is Xatu.
Information[edit]
Natu's wings are underdeveloped, which makes them flightless birds. This is compensated by their highly developed jumping ability, and they get around by skipping. While it usually forages for food on the ground, Natu has been also known to hop onto tree branches to feed on new sprouts. It can also run up short tress, and Natu has been known to feed on cactus plants while avoiding buds and spines.

In Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold and SoulSilver, Natu commonly appeared outside the Ruins of Alph. In HeartGold and SoulSilver, Natu could also appear uncommonly when headbutting trees at Route 28 and Mt. Silver. It could also be caught at the Pokéwalker's Scary Cave course, from which it could be transferred to HeartGold/SoulSilver.
