Garchomp is a powerful, flying shark-like Pokémon that was introduced in the fourth generation games. It is the third and final form in Gible's evolutionary line. Garchomp is also known as the signature Pokémon of Cynthia.

Garchomp evolves from Gabite at Level 48. It looks like a jet plane when it folds up its body and extends its wings, and it even flies at sonic speed like a jet fighter plane.
