Landorus is a a fertility-granting legendary Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It forms a trio with Tornadus and Thunderus, which it controls. While Landorus is obtainable within Pokémon: Black and White Versions, it can only be unlocked by trading between the two versions.
Information[edit]
Landorus is a Pokémon that, like Tornadus and Thunderus, resembles a humanoid figure riding a floating cloud. Landorus effects the land rather than the weather, however, as the energy pouring out from its tail increases soil nutrition, which allows crops to grow to great size. The lands that Landorus visits gain crops bountiful enough that it has become known as "The Guardian of Fields".
It is also known to keep its two counterparts in check, as tales in Unova told of a time when both Tornadus and Thunderus wreaked havoc upon the fields homes of Unova with their control over weather until Landorus stepped in and stopped them. This has caused Landorus to be worshiped by some inhabitants of Unova.
Appearances[edit]
Mainstream Games[edit]
In Pokémon: Black and White Versions, Landorus could appear at the shrine in its honor at the Abundant Shrine only if the player had both Tornadus and Thunderus in their party (which requires trading with the opposite version). It could then be battled and either defeated or captured.
Other Appearances[edit]
