Lucas is the hero of Mother 3. He lives with his family on the outskirts of Tazmily Village on Nowhere Island. He is weaker than his twin, Klaus, and is described as a crybaby at times.

Background

Lucas lived a happy life until one night. The nearby fire caught fire and Drago, a dinosaur he played with, killed his mother. The next day Lucas' brother, Klaus, went to kill Drago. Lucas was left behind. At his mother's funeral, he told everyone where Claus was. He ran from the funeral. Klaus was never found again and Lucas' friend Duster left town.

Three years later, the village has changed. Everyone has Happiness Boxes; bad things happen to those who don't. A rumor went around that a member of the band DCMC was really Duster. While investigating, Lucas met Yoshi-Koshi. She explained that he had amnesia and told Lucas about what they've been doing. They decide to search for an egg that Duster stole.

Abilities

Lucas usually fights with a piece of timber, though he occasionally uses a baseball bat or yo-yo. Lucas also learns PSI abilities. His signature attack is PK Love.
