Corphish is a hardy Pokémon that can survive in any environment. It was originally a foreign Pokémon that was imported, but some escaped and wound up reproducing in the wild. It uses its sharp claw to catch prey and will never release it. Corphish has no likes or dislikes when it comes to food and will eat anything. It can thrive even in filthy streams with no problem.
Corphish evolves into Crawdaunt at Level 30.

In Pokémon: Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald Versions, Corphish could be commonly fished with the Super Rod at Routes 102 and 117 and Petalburg City.
