Vanillish is a living ice Pokémon resembling an ice cream cone that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the middle form of Vanillite's evolutionary line and evolves into Vanilluxe.
Information[edit]
Vanillish evolves from Vanillite at Level 35. Its primary habitat is snowy mountains. They moved to southern areas during an ancient ice age. Vanillish can conceal themselves from enemy eyes by creating many small ice particles and hiding amongst them.
Vanillish evolves into Vanilluxe at Level 47.
Appearances[edit]
Mainstream Games[edit]
In Pokémon: Black and White Versions, Vanillish appears commonly outside Dragonspiral Tower in winter only.
Other Games[edit]
In Pokémon Rumble Blast, it was found at the glacier area of World Axle's second basement floor.
Other Appearances[edit]
Other Media[edit]
- In the Pokémon anime, a Vanillish was featured in one episode as the main Pokémon of Accelguard's ice-themed nemesis.
Trivia[edit]
- Its name is a combination of "vanilla" (as with the rest of the evolutionary lines, referring to the ice cream flavor and its similar color) and "delish" (a slang term for "delicious", an adjective that is applicable to ice cream).
