Cherubi is a small fruit-like Pokémon that was introduced in the fourth generation games. Its evolved form is Cherrim.
Information
Cherubi usually take on the form of two fruit-like balls connected to a leafy stem. They are colored red to the sunlight. Cherubi's smaller ball contains nutrients which are needed for evolution and is very healthy. Cherubi constantly drain energy from the small ball until evolution. Because it is also delicious, Starly will often try to peck the small ball off. Once the ball has been drained of nutrients, Cherubi shrivels as a herald of evolution.
It evolves into Cherrim at Level 25.

Trivia
- Its name is a combination of "cherry" (due to its fruitlike appearance) with "cherubic" (which means innocent or childlike, likely due to the Pokémon being young).
