Debut ARMS

Min Min, nicknamed the Ramen Bomber, is one of the playable fighters featured in ARMS. She has also become known for being the ARMS representative in Super Smash Bros..

Background

Min Min was a young girl who was descended from 'ramen royalty'. Her family ran the Mintendo Noodle House. She was also among the people who possessed the ARMS trait, which gave her powerful extending arms. Reflecting her family business, her arms and hair resembled ramen noodles. Like many who possessed ARMS, she used this ability to compete in fighting tournaments. Min Min sought to promote her family business and to bring the championship belt back home.

Other Appearances

Video Games

  • In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Min Min was originally present in the game as an Ace-rank Support Spirit. She was later added to the game as a playable character through DLC that was made available at the end of June 2020. She was offered as the first character of the game's second Fighter Pass. In battle, her right ARM can be switched between three kinds of ARMS (which are the same as her standard ARMS). Her moveset focuses on long-range attacks, and her Final Smash involved summoning other ARMS fighters to attack with her. Min Min's Classic Mode route was called "ARMS at the Ready" and involved fighting other characters who represented different ARMS fighters, ending with a boss battle against Galleom.
  • When fought against in a Spirit battle for her Support Spirit, Min Min's Spirit would possess the female Corrin, focus on special moves and have additional speed, in addition to becoming stronger when damaged. A Fighter Spirit for Min Min was also made available after she became a playable fighter.
  • Min Min's addition to Ultimate was announced through an animated trailer. This notably showed her working as a waitress in a noodle shop and showed what she looked like outside of her ARMS form, although it is unknown if this reflects canon.

Trivia

  • Her Japanese name is Myen Myen, similar to "men", the Japanese word for noodles.
  • Min Min's native language is Chinese.
  • Her standard ARMS are the Dragon, Megawatt and Ramram.
  • During battle, she calls out the names of different dishes.
