Bessie Bass was the miniboss of the third world in Yoshi's Island DS. Bessie was a Cheep-Cheep grown to giant size by Kamek so that she could battle Yoshi. Bessie Bass fought Yoshi in a water area and leapt from the water multiple times in an attempt to consume Yoshi. However, Yoshi was able to harm Bessie by tossing eggs into her mouth. After three eggs in the mouth, Bessie was defeated.
