Gigalith is a poweful rock-like Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the third and final stage of Roggenrola's evolutionary line.

Information

Gigalith evolves from Boldore when traded to another trainer. Gigalith's crystals are capable of absorbing solar energy, which is stored in its internal core. Once magnified and compressed, Gigalith can release this energy as an attack that is apparently powerful enough to blow away a mountain.

Appearances

Mainstream Games

Gigalith has not been found in the wild can only be obtained through evolution.

Trivia

  • Its name is a combination of "giga" (in reference to its size and likely its power) or "gigas" (a race of earthborn giants from Greek mythology) with "lithos"(which is Greek for stone).
