'Sekiryo Kaneda

Date of Death: February 2, 1979

Sekiryo Kaneda was the second president of Nintendo, from 1929 to 1949. He married Tei Yamauchi, Fusajiro Yamauchi's daughter, and took the Yamauchi name. When he retired, he passed the company to his grandson, Hiroshi Yamauchi because his son had abandoned his family. He died shortly afterwards by a stroke.
