Cinccino is a fur-covered chinchilla-like Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the evolved form of Minccino.

Information[edit]

It evolves from Minccino when exposed to a Shiny Stone. It is most notable for the fine white fur which surrounds its body. The fur not only feels amazing to touch, but it is also coated with a special oil which makes it easy for them to reflect attacks. Cinccino's fur also repels dust and prevents static electricity form building up.

Appearances[edit]

Mainstream Games[edit]

In Pokémon: Black and White Versions, Cinccino could be rarely found within rustling grass at Routes 5, 9 and 16 and Cold Storage.

Other Games[edit]

In Pokémon Rumble Blast, Cinccino was found at the meadow area of World Axle's first basment floor as well as in Trailhead Field after the game's ending. In PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond, it resided at Cove Town but had to be rescued from the Wish Park, and it could then be befriended through a chase.

Other Appearances[edit]

Other Media[edit]

  • In the Pokémon anime, Cinccino has only made a cameo appearance in the introduction of the fourteenth movie.
  • In the Pokémon Adventures manga, at one point during the Black/White arc, a Cinccino was featured with Trubbish as the two Pokémon belonging to Geoff, the president of the Battle Company who posed as a janitor. The Cinccino helped Geoff by sweeping up with its tail, and its scarf was able to repel most attacks. In battle with Black, his Galvantula was able to defeat it with a physical attack by swinging around on a thread of its web.

Trivia[edit]

  • Its name is a combination of "chinchilla" and "chino" (a type of cloth).
