Timeline History[edit]

Good Timeline[edit]

In Gamehiker Member OG X, Retro was employed at an Office Max in Rocketsville for a certain amount of time, but after losing his job because of Yoshiman and Flutter's misdeeds, he teams up with Masamune and his crew aboard the S.S. Swordfeller to track down the mysterious "Lady in Black".

Retro somehow gets his hands on the Shrack of Neely for the first time down in Arab Dude's secret underground lair after they're all captured, though it's not with him for long. Then, after being tossed into jail with the rest of the Gamehiker's for being at the wrong place at the wrong time, Retro and the rest of the group are sent to try and foil Old Golem's plans of resurrecting Luigi 64 by merging all of the six plot devices. A recipe for disaster, that. The battle ended with Retro, Jed, Fera, Rhykette and Dargo-X being sent 25 years into the future where Old Golem and the other New Gods rule over the world. To restore the broken world, the Gamehikers set out to find the other plot devices and find a way to defeat Old Golem and set the strand of time straight once and for all.

In Gamehiker Member OG Holiday Special: Happy Father's Day Masa!, Retro is walking the streets deciding what to buy himself for being such a good role model, he stumbles onto a mysterious homeless man, and winds up naming him Goy (therefore adopting him) so that he would buy Retro presents instead. After hearing this, EVIL Scientist Dude III kidnaps Retro and uses the Patrilineage Bombinator on him along with other OGing fathers in order to erase the fathers from existence and their meddlesome children at the same time (despite Goy not having even met EVIL Scientist Dude before, much less posing a threat to him).

Other Versions[edit]

  • In Pokemon: OG Version, Rett, a Pokemon Trainer and Gym leader, journeys along with Luiigii of the Pipes in his journey to capture Pokemon all over the world.

Epic Goers Continuity[edit]

(This is basically the separate timeline, not in any way connected to the Good or Bad timelines, which follows Retro's adventures with his friends after he leaves his home planet.)

In the year 2005, Retro left home and embarked on a journey into space. After about four years of training and annoying book work, Retro became a harborer under the jurisdiction of the Planetary Defenders Guild (PDG). In 2014, after several years of working on various assignments, Retro was transferred to work aboard the Space Cruiser Diablo to shelter their dangerous cargo in case of extra terrestrial activity, which was common in the area at the time. After being alerted that the latest transport of cargo from asteroid Gamma 9-Z was shaking and looked suspicious, Retro teamed up with Director and Mariorocks (AKA Nintendofreak AKA Rocky) to check it out. After discovering that there was, in fact, an ALIEN stowed away on the ship, Retro and Director (and the janitor Murphy) fight for survival while being hunted down by the bloodthirsty serpent. After narrowly escaping certain death, Retro & Director meet up with Samus Aran, who saves their lives twice, and they hitch a short ride to Earth on her ship. After landing, Director and Retro bid farewell to Samus and decide to just get jobs as fry cooks.

After working as fry cooks for about a year, the two decide to travel across America for some reason. Shortly after their journey begins Retro recalls items of supreme power called pixels, and suddenly the two are fighting against pirates and the government to obtain these items. After nearly meeting their maker a few times, Retro and Director use the power of the pixels to resurrect Nintendofreak. And with that, they set off on their journey again. Later on, they meet their fourth party member, Fera Praag, as well as meet the two Freds and their quest to do something or other. Retro eventually comes across a 'new kind' of pixel energy, given to him by a mysterious robot that crash landed from outer-space. With help from the pixel-based robot, P.exe.l., Retro became corrupted with the energy inside the pixels. After that he pretty much became the main villain in the story, and almost destroyed the Earth a few times, but Director knocked him into another dimension and, with the help of Fera, trapped him in there using a set of his own pixels handed to him by God (though who knows if they actually WERE real pixels.)

Retro was trapped in eternal damnation for about five months, or so he thought, but soon broke free out of what really was an illusion set up by the CIA (Celestial Inflation Agency). After escaping their clutches (and destroying Rotcerid,) he meets up with Fred and pilots their submarine towards Rapture, destroying that too in the process. He swears revenge against all of his former friends for what they did to him. And after battling a good number of enemies, Retro meets up with Director, Nintendofreak, and Orter at the Fontane security building in Rapture. However, during an intense battle with a Big General Daddy, Orter is slain. Before Retro can really wonder why he hasn't died (because up to this point they all believed Retro and Orter to be linked by life forces) he and Fontane begin to fight. After the final battle in Rapture, Retro barely escapes while the city crumbles over Fontane, and makes his way up to the foggy shores of New York, dazed and confused.

Between What Lies Beneath and the next story, Make War, Not Pixels!, Retro meets Fera again, who incidentally just happened to be at the spot that Retro arrived at. After a while, they grow close and eventually get engaged, and then settle down in a secret underground chamber to escape the dangers of the decaying city.

Since Rapture collapsed three years ago, New York, as well as the world around them started to show signs of decaying and chaos. Fontane's influence below the surface of the world has shaken the foundations of the rest of the Earth. Retro tries desperately to find a way to escape so that he and his now pregnant wife can seek out a new life somewhere else, but the dimensional rifts that opened up all along the outsides of the planet prevent him from doing so, and he is shot back down to Earth. Shortly after they meet up with Nintendofreak, they find a different way off of the planet by means of the dimensional hole used to originally seal up Retro, but they get captured by the Dark Star Pirates in the process of using it.

After fighting the entire Dark Star crew, and teaming up with The Kirby of Death, the party find themselves on a Legion flagship, piloted by Kane. And after finally having a moment, they all discover that a major war has broken out in space, but has apparently no connection to the fate of the Earth yet. KoD leaves the group temporarily, and Retro meets an old buddy of his from the PDG: Andrew, and together they all escape via a pod, and head to a PDG space station amidst a huge space battle. Andrew is killed shortly after they arrive, and Retro helps his teammates escape a CIA ambush but wounds himself in the process. Not being able to heal himself in time using his pixels, Fera and Nintendofreak carry him throughout the battered station until Nintendofreak gets kidnapped by Leaven after a battle with a renewed ALIEN.

Retro and Fera walk through the empty PDG space station after the ALIEN attack, until they meet up with the general they presumed was dead. General Exaihnobutuh shows them to his ship, but after an ambush by a Metal Gear disguised as another Alien, Exaih is killed, but gives Retro and Fera enough time to escape. On the elevator, they reunite with KoD and together they escape on Exaih's ship. After breaking through a fleet of Legion ships, they arrive at Retro's home planet of Partur, and talk with it's Elder. Later that night, they meet Lando, a former CIA Lieutenant who was stranded on Partur years ago, but defends the village from Legion attackers, who are also stranded on the planet. Retro and the group team up with him, and fight Cosbine and his troops, before they can attack any more villages.

After the team help end the conflict on Partur, they meet up with Leaven and his group again, but this time they all become allies. They learn through the ghost of the CIA's leader that Retro's home town, Widget, no longer exists because of a creeping evil that has spread throughout the planet, as well as many other places. After killing the physical form of the CIA Commander once again, Retro and his friends are sent through a strange rift into a new dimension, where everyone is forced to face their fears as well as their uncertain futures. The being they meet there is Xallos, a mysterious entity that has existed for millenniums. After escaping Xallos' realm, and losing The Kirby of Death as he attempts to defeat him, the group arrive back in the "real" Widget to meet back up with Lando, and consequently the Dark Star Pirates again, who have allied themselves with Lando and the heroes after learning of Clyde's evil intentions.

Not long after, the group is engaged once more in a battle with Legion. Frouzt, Crystal Gambit, and Kane all arrive on Partur ready to fight, but Kane departs after the ensuing battle, while Frouzt is brought to The Epic Goer's side, and now the only opponent that remains is Crystal Gambit.
