Carthage

Carthage, The Ennead's counterpart to GORE-ILLA, was a talking gorilla. This was never explained at all. He was brought from Africa by poachers hired by Elizabeth's evil poppa, but he was delivered after Poppa Elizabeth died so Elizabeth was able to bring the gorilla into their ranks as another member of The Ennead. He chose the name Carthage for himself because of the city he was shipped off from.

His name was originally supposed to be Cartilage to make it more of a counterpart to GORE (and also since I think one of the first usernames I tried registering at VGF before picking GORE-ILLA was Cartilage Kong).
