Background

Sephnity is one of the five Sephnit ruby spirits created by Sephnita. Sephnity resides within the Ruby of Popularity and thus represents all that is popular and obnoxious. He speaks in gangsta slang, resulting in very embarassing dialogue. Sephnity's main weapons are a skateboard and a set of chain-chucks. His tradmark move is the "Beam of Peer Pressure". This move brainwashes whoever it hits into becoming his mindless servant, and to start speaking in a similar slang.

Sephnity first appears in Member OG 2: The Jewel Heist along with the other Sephnit spirits. He is the second and last ruby spirit that Sephnita summons to deal with the OGers. Sephnity uses his Beam of Peer Pressure to drive Fusion into attacking the others, but Sephnity is foiled after Fred defeats him with his hammer. Afterwards, Fusion keeps Sephnity's ruby and uses him to become the world's most popular celebrity in Member OG 3: Subtitle Soon!.

Despite that, Sephnity later appeared in Member OG 4: GORE-ILLA's Quest, starting with a misspelling of Saphnity. In Hell, Sephnity made a pact with several other villains to form the Anti-OG Six. Sephnity acted as Black Skull Dragoshi's rival. He wound up being the sap, being the first to be killed by Fusion's evolved form and then killed by BSD's evolved form. Near the end of the OG he instead battled Yami Yoshi and Pharoah Yami Yoshi, using his beam to turn the Pharoah against Yami. He was still defeated.

Sephnity was last seen in Member OG 6: VGF Moon, once more allied with the Anti-OG Six. This time he battled That Guy and ???, using the Beam of Peer Pressure on ???. Near the OG's ending, Akujin absorbed Sephnity and the other Sephnit rubies in order to gain their power, and he was destroyed soon afterwards. Sephnity has not been seen since.
