Rival is known for hunting down Moondo, a mysterious guy with neat gadgets. Rival has technological aid, too, but he relies more on his own muscles than on his machinery. He always wears a black suit, complete with a black jacket and red tie. Expect this guy to be ruthless. Not much else is known about him, save that he's of Asian descent.

For a time, he worked with a former police officer named "Mol" to track down Moondo, but Mol found trouble with Rival's lack of ethics and decided to leave Rival's company.
Goot Timeline[edit]
Rival appears in Extra Fanventures, where he tinkers with technology in order to use the energy of S-Space as a fuel. This could finally be his chance to shine if the OG actually goes anywhere.
Other Appearances[edit]
- He appears in Party Goers Heroes: Romantic Ideals, where he and Mol hunt Moondo, and are later forced into working with Murasame.
- In Lost OG, he is aligned with a group of evil researchers who hatch some plan involving the island's cicada population and captures Kester.
- In Gamehiker High University 3: Finals Finale!?, he is introduced as a college student and rival of Moondo who winds up throwing his own party at Chibi's to antagonize Golem and Toby or something.
- In After That, he somehow appears teamed up with Moondo and Rhyk as part of a government agency dispatched to hunt and kill Golem, Tyler and Fred.
- He appears in one chapter of Lord of the Parties in a parody role of Bill Ferny.
