Mr. Neely is a powerful old man who once counted among the legendary Elemental Warriors of the old universe, but quit before they became famous.

Background

Long ago, in the early years of the previous universe, Mr. Neely was counted among the five elemental warriors. He was the master of the 'aether', which he manipulated through his control of gravity. His powers were so potent that he outclassed his comrades and set out on his own to achieve his own ends. Millenia later, they came back to capture him. They were unable to beat him, so they tricked him into sucking himself into one of his own black holes, where his power over gravity was lost (save for 'memory-based' power based on illusion).

His weapon was the key to unlocking him and was sealed inside of a tower that was guarded by King McSpoony. Ultimately the Shrack was destroyed when Introbulus destroyed the universe and was forgotten. Or it would have been, except Murasame traveled back in time (thanks to a loophole created by being in a non-canon future) and deposited the Shrack in the year 2009 in the Good Timeline, where it was found by Arab Dude and later the Gamehikers. Along with the other Plot Devices, it became the key to Golem ascending to godhood.

In the alternate future, the Gamehikers were sucked into Neely's prison when Wariofan inserted a Canadian Quarter in the Holy Plot Device (Reverb) instead of a US Quarter after all the Plot Devices had been assembled. Mr. Neely used this opportunity to escape back into the outside world, but soon learned that his own universe was long gone and his captors now long deceased.

Trivia

  • Mr. Neely, like some other Masamune characters (Masamune, Murasame, Raskarith and Dargo...) is a reused character concept from before Party Goers (making him a filthy RP character). The character was Dahlund who survived the (natural) destruction of the previous universe. He had an older sister, but I have no idea what her name was. He has more qualities in common with Neezer Stubbs of Final Fantasy OG 3, a cantankerous old man who coined the word Shrack.
