Needless emphasis on the romantic pairing of certain characters, often accompanied by portmanteaus of their two names with the dominant partner's name coming first. For example, one such pairing is:
Golem x Sapphire = Sapphlem

Examples
- Employed in the Good Timeline. Though there is obvious sexual tension between the two during the Party Goers series (actually not really), Golem and Sapphire are married at the end of Gamehiker Member OG 2: On the Road Again and their relationship is frequently mocked throughout the rest of the series. They go through a particularly rough patch in Gamehiker Member OG VIII: The Final Parody, but are reunited at the end thanks to Golem dying and being reborn and Sapphire realizing how much she missed him or something. Ultimately leads to the birth of the Good Timeline Cobalt.
Donkeyphire - Donkeyman and Sapphire
- Employed in the Bad Timeline and an alternate Good Timeline future. The relationship stems from Donkeyman's unresolved feelings for Ruby Red, since Sapphire is a dead-ringer (or rebirth?!) of the female Festivity Attender. They meet some time after Member OG 10: Full Circle, where Sapphire agrees to help Donkeyman find his heart and, in doing so, finds her own heart as well. Aside from adopting the Fusion Kids, they also bear the Bad Timeline Cobalt. If you find this inter-species relationship disturbing, just think about Nick Bottom and Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream. It probably won't help. (To be fair, Donkeyman is able to assume human form.)
- A relationship started by GORE developing a Boy Meets World complex after becoming the father of Ronnie Yoshi. He tried to make Rebe his Topanga by kidnapping her in Gamehiker Member OG IX, but she ended up marrying Luiigii instead. That hasn't halted GORE's interests though. In GMOG Sidequest: MAGIKOOPA???, GORE is trapped in Luiigii's body and is implied to have sexed up Rebe. In the alternate future in Gamehiker Member OG X, he hooks up with Rebe after becoming human and he is forced to kill Luiigii.
Luigi Cindy-Four - Luigi 64 and Cindy
Luiijii - Luiigii of the Pipes and Deijii
- They dated in the earlier GMOG stories, but ultimately it never worked out. Especially since she married Luiigii. However Masamune has held a prolonged interest in her in the Gamehiker High University series as the only woman he doesn't hate.
- Employed in the Good Timeline. They somehow hook up in the end of Holiday Special: Happy Father's Day, Masa! for no reason except that Thrakun eats rocks and Quincy can make them. This is a completely pointless example to show how pointless shipping is!
