Personality: A bit devil-may-care, considering that he jumps into volcanoes for a living.
Special Abilities: Luigi of the Stars has inherited his family's Goombeli-mutated DNA that protects him from any and all forms of heat damage. He uses two laser swords in battle, but isn't that good with them.
Flaws: Luigi did NOT get enough Goombeli mutation to understand Slort or use the typical telekinesis and telepathy. He is also driven by revenge, which is rather blinding in the long run.

History

Luiigii of the Pipes and Rebe Jade had a daughter named Ashley. Ashley married Masamune and they had a son named Dodo. Then Dodo married and had a son.

This is Luigi of the Stars.

Luigi was a mere two years old when Earth was destroyed by the Ushatarians. Due to Masamune not showing up when he promised, Luigi was also one of the last people to actually escape the planet, via a hidden escape pod that Luiigii of the Pipes has purchased long ago. Unbeknownst to Luiigii, he had purchased the escape pod from the Darth, and it was programmed to take Luigi to the Darth's ship after launching. Moment before Earth was destroyed, Slort promised to watch Luigi, though he was unable to keep up with the escape pod.

The Darth adopted Luigi for as yet unknown reasons and convinced him that his true enemies were his grandparents, Ashley and Masamune, since they had abandoned his father and consequently him. They spent the next twenty some years of Luigi's growth skipping through time, training and trying to determine a way to kill the immortal Masamune. On their last trip together, they traveled to the End of the Universe and found a book that recounted Masamune's death, but lingered too long. In a surprisingly unselfish act, the Darth forced Luigi to leave him behind, since he was quite old and wouldn't have made it to their time-traveling ship in time.

Though Luigi escaped, the ship was damaged in the initial stages of the End of the Universe and could only drop him off in the year 2340. Daunted by the Darth's demise, Luigi gave up on seeking out Masamune and even forgot the book he had gone so far to collect. Using his innate resistence to any form of heat, he took up a job as a Volcano Diver and became quite wealthy over the next five years. He hired a pair of goomba bodyguards named Slorg and Splot.

In 2345, he re-met Slort, though only briefly, while collecting a job from Captain Absolutely Nobody at Milliway's. The job entailed a trip to the Syntax system to collect a boot from a volcano. Before leaving, he (unintentionally) recruited a team to help him, including Rhykette, GM, and Don Miguel, who became the first Galaxy Goers. After some misadventures in space, involving the loss of Slort and recruiting of Triple-X, they arrived on Syntax and conveniently found the boot in the first volcano they checked.

Unfortunately, they also ran into the leader of the Syntaxians, Delta Error, who treated them to a wonderful vacation while he and Professor Beta secretly performed tests on them in an attempt to find a cure for a disease that had spread across the entire Syntaxian race. It was eventually discovered that Beta was actually working for Baron von Desperation, lord of the Badlands of Syntax and Delta's mortal foe. They also discovered Murasame. Delta joined with the Galaxy Goers long enough for them to kill Desperation and blow up the entire planet (except for the part that the Syntaxians lived on), and then decided to stay with them in hopes of finding a real cure.
