Audino is a Pokémon with excellent hearing that was introduced in the fifth generation games.

Information[edit]

Audino is known for its outstanding auditory sense. It has a radar-like ability to understand its environment through slight sounds. They have feelers on their ears and touches people with them to tell how they are feeling from their heartbeat. They seem to be primarily peaceful Pokémon that can even heal their opponents. However, they are also known to give unusually high amounts of experience if defeated.

Appearances[edit]

Mainstream Games[edit]

In Pokémon: Black and White Versions, Audino had a chance of appearing in rustling grass at any patch of grass. They are the Pokémon that most commonly appears from rustling grass.

Other Games[edit]

In Pokémon Rumble Blast, Audino could be found at the meadow area of Challenger's Ground, the autumnwood area of Firebreathing Mountain, the desert and canyon areas of Rugged Flats, the canyon area of Volcanic Slope and the meadow area of World Axel's first basement floor, and they also appeared at Trailhead Field's meadow and forest areas after the main storyline was completed. In PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond, Audino was located in Cove Town and could increase a Pokémon's health.

Other Appearances[edit]

Other Media[edit]

  • In the Pokémon anime, Audino began appearing during the Unova episodes, where it was shown that Nurse Joys in Unova have Audino as nurses instead of Chansey. Audino were also featured in one episode where Team Rocket was using sound waves to attract and steal various Audino from trainers until Ash and company rescued them.
