Conkeldurr is a large, musclebound Pokémon introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the third and final form in Timburr's evolutionary line.
Information[edit]
Conkeldurr evolves from Gurdurr only when traded to another player. They use concrete pillars as walking canes. It is believed that Conkeldurr actually taught humans how to make concrete over 2,000 years ago. Conkeldurr are also clever enough to know which moves enable them to swing the heavy pillars around freely during battle.
Appearances[edit]
Mainstream Games[edit]
Conkeldurr has not been found in the wild and can only be obtained through evolution.
Other Games[edit]
In Pokémon Rumble Blast, Conkeldurr was found at the canyon of the Volcanic Slope, but it only appeared after the main storyline was completed. In PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond, Conkeldurr was featured as the Area Keeper of the Tech Area and had to approve of anyone entering the Train Depot. Conkeldurr had to be defeated in battle initially due to thinking Pikachu and his friends were intruders. Having earned his trust through this, he then sent them to retrieve supplies from his apprentice, Timburr, which he used to repair the broken rail bridge.
Trivia[edit]
- Its name seems to be a play on a combination of "concrete" and "elder", although the "conk" in its name could also represent onomatopoeia for hitting someone.
