Cubchoo is a small polar bear cub-like Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. Its evolved form is Beartic.
Information[edit]
Cubchoo resembles a small bear and has a perpetually runny nose. They always have streams of mucus dripping down from their nose, and they constantly try sniffing it back up. This is because a Cubchoo's mucus actually provides the raw material for the moves which it uses in battle. When they are not feeling well, their mucus gets watery, which lowers the power of their Ice-type attacks.
It evolves into Beartic at Level 37.
Appearances[edit]
Mainstream Games[edit]
In Pokémon: Black and White Versions, Cubchoo were found at Twist Mountain at all times of the year, being common in the winter, uncommon in spring and autumn and rare during the summertime. In the winter, Cubchoo could also be commonly found at Route 7 and outside Dragonspiral Tower.
Trivia[edit]
- Its name is a simple combination of "cub" (as in bear cub) with "achoo" (which represents a sneezing sound and is used due to Cubchoo's running nose).
