Dolph is a playable unit appearing in Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryuu to Hikari no Tsurugi, Book One of Monshou no Nazo, Part 1 of BS Fire Emblem: Akaneia Senki and Shadow Dragon.
Background[edit]
Dolph was a loyal soldier of Archanea who often worked alongside fellow knights Macellan and Tomas. During BS Fire Emblem, they and Midia were assigned to flee the Millenial Palace while escorting Princess Nyna and Boah while General Camus's men invaded it. Despite their best efforts, they were eventually overpowered and captured, at which point they were imprisoned in the castle. They remained there until Marth's army saved them in Chapter 12 (10 SNES). After the war, he was promoted to a general and retired from the army soon afterwards (as did Macellan), and as such they are absent from Book Two.
Trivia[edit]
- Not counting death quotes, Dolph, Macellan and Tomas only have speaking lines in BS Fire Emblem.
- His ending title of "Splitting Image" (as well as Macellan's of "Dead Ringer") is a joking reference to how the two look nearly identical.
- In Shadow Dragon, he receives Support Bonuses from Macellan, Tomas, Midia and Boah.
