Macellan is a playable unit appearing in Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryuu to Hikari no Tsurugi, Book One of Monshou no Nazo, Part 1 of BS Fire Emblem: Akaneia Senki and Shadow Dragon.
Background[edit]
Macellan was a loyal soldier of Archanea who often worked alongside fellow knights Dolph and Tomas. During BS Fire Emblem, they and Midia were assigned to flee the Millenial Palace while escorting Princess Nyna and Boah while General Camus's men invaded it. Despite their best efforts, they were eventually overpowered and captured, at which point they were imprisoned in the castle. They remained there until Marth's army saved them in Chapter 12 (10 SNES). After the war,

- His ending title of "Dead Ringer" (as well as Dolph's of "Splitting Image") reflects how the two strangely resemble each other.
- Discounting death quotes, Dolph, Macellan and Tomas only have speaking lines in BS Fire Emblem.
- In Shadow Dragon, he receives Support Bonuses from Dolph, Tomas, Midia and Boah.
