Durant is a steel ant-like Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It has no known evolutionary line, but it has a rival in the form of Heatmor.
Information[edit]
Durant are covered in steel armor to protect themselves from Heatmor, who prey on them. Heatmor's flaming tongue is capable of melting through their bodies. Durant usually attack in groups, likely to try and compensate for their weaknesses. They dig their nests in mountains and build complicated, interconnected tunnels in mazes.
Appearances[edit]
Mainstream Games[edit]
In Pokémon: Black and White Versions, Durant could be somewhat commonly found at Victory Road.
Trivia[edit]
- Its name is a combination of "durable" and "ant".
