Eelektrik is a floating electric eel Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the middle form of Tynamo's evolutionary line and evolves into Eelektross.
Information[edit]
It evolves from Tynamo at Level 39. Eelektrik has circular patterns across its body which are actually electricity-generating organs. They are known for their big appetite. When they spot their prey, Eelektrik coil around them and paralyze them with the electricity that they generate.
Eelektrik evolves into Eelektross when exposed to a Thunderstone.
Appearances[edit]
Mainstream Games[edit]
Eelektrik has not been found in the wild and can only be obtained by evolving Tynamo.
Trivia[edit]
- Its name is simply a pun on "electric" combined with "eel".
- Tynamo's evolutionary line is unique in that the Levitate ability makes it immune to Ground type moves except under special conditions, so they have no type weaknesses.
